The Audi virtual cockpit
The optional Audi virtual cockpit for the Audi A4 Saloon offers top-quality high-tech features. The instrument cluster in the form of a high-resolution 12.3‑inch LCD screen presents information in a comprehensive and versatile manner.
The driver can use the multi-function steering wheel to switch between two modes: The Infotainment mode is dominated by a central window while the rev counter and speedometer are displayed as small round elements. The classic view focuses on the instruments. The central window with the navigation map or the telephone, radio or audio lists is correspondingly smaller here.
The Audi virtual cockpit presents the required information in an attractive colour design – for example, it shines in orange in the media menu and in green in the telephone menu.
The Audi virtual cockpit is controlled via the multi-function steering wheel plus. The switches on the left spoke are used for navigating through the menus of the audio system, the on-board computer and the telephone and navigation elements. The mode is changed with the "View" button.
